As the Digital Travellers project continues its exciting digital education journey, check back in here to find the project’s results and deliverables to stay up-to-date on how we progress!
If you’re curious about the project’s specific objectives and targets, check out the handbook we’re referring to throughout the project!
As we began this journey, we started by mapping out the digital education resources available in the four project countries, Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands, and Poland. This was a significant exercise to the project and was split into two different presentations to go over the initial and final results of our resource mapping.
We’ve entered the next phase of our project! In this phase, we will be training librarians in Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands, and Poland in using the Digital Travellers database (coming soon!). Find out what it means to participate in our pitch!
As part of the Digital Travellers journey, the librarians will be trained on how to use the database as well as how to carry out supportive, encouraging, and nurturing workshop to foster new digital skills in vulnerable groups and to build confidence. These are the powerpoint slides we have been using to start the training. If you’re interested please get in touch via the “Contact Us” page.
One of the key objectives of this project is to develop a database of digital education resources for librarians and digital educators to use. You will find an English database as well as national databases in Finnish, French, and Polish. The Dutch database is coming soon!
Quality assurance plan
We will be carrying out various quality assurance activities internally and throughout the project’s activities to monitor how things are going. This will be the plan we will follow.
